How is Cargo Delivered

There are three basic ways by which freight is brought from one place to another and logistics companies use them depending on the type of cargo or on the choice of the customer.

The first type and the most expensive and fastest is transport by air. Cargo planes are basically used and shipments are expected to arrive to the destination place at the earliest possible time. Another method of delivering freight is by sea, where huge ships are used to bring heavy and large cargo to another place. The third type is transportation via land. Logistics companies use freight trains, container vans, and the like to deliver the goods to their destination points. Among the three modes of transport, land freight transport is the most economical and is preferred by those who want to save on their logistics cost.
